ARTIFACT: Wonderful 1880's – 1890's Old West Deputy Sheriff circle star cut-out shield badge with great hand stamped lettering that reads: "DEPUTY SHERIFF". The badge shows some light color in the letters: "DEP" and is likely mild oxidation. Overall, this example is perfect in size and patina.

VINTAGE: Circa 1880's – 1890's

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/8" x 1-3/4"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Nickel plated nickel

ATTACHMENT: Vertical safety style one-piece pin, no saddle

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The badge shows minor to moderate wear, light oxidation, great been there look!
