Great Old West 1870s-1880s Hand Stamped "Stock" Special Deputy Sheriff Circle Star Badge

This is a great Old West 1870's - 1880's "Stock" Special Deputy Sheriff Circle Star Badge. It is a hand stamped, convex badge that has the "Been out on a posse" kind of look. While there are little details to speak of, other than the words surrounding the star, and the small embellishments at center, it has a great Old West look to it.

Circa 1870's - 1880's.

Approximately 1-3/4" in diameter.

Hand stamped and dapped nickel with black painted details.

Vertical kick pin with a tongue type C catch.
