Description
This is an 1876 medal for the Centennial Legion of Historic Military Commands, Inc. The Legion is a veterans' organization that was formed on the United States' 100th birthday to promote the patriotism and military commands of the original thirteen states. The medal has a bar at top with a horizontal fasces and a medallion showing a shield flanked by six flags and a hat on a pike. The reverse of the medal has a daisy-like design in which each original state is a starred circle overlapping its neighbor's.

SIZE:1-3/4" height and 1-1/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Gold-plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical pin with drop-in locking "C" catch and suspension ring.
