Description
This is an 1876 military order medal and bar for the Centennial Legion of Historic Military Commands, Inc. The Legion is a veterans' organization that was formed on the United States' 100th birthday to promote the patriotism and military commands of the thirteen colonies. The medal shows a shield flanked by six flags and a hat on a pike and hangs from a blue ribbon with thirteen white stars.
