This is an early American shooting medal. The front reads PRESENTED TO GEORGE W. PUTNAM FOR THE BEST SHOT AT TARGET FIRING.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1839.

SIZE:

1-1/2" diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Coin silver.
