WWII USN MKII Fighting Knife Guard-Marked KA BAR

This is a World War II United States Navy Mark II (MKII) fighting utility knife. The knife reads KA BAR on the guard and B.M. Co. on the sheath.

Circa World War II.

Overall (sheathed): approximately 13-5/16" in length and 2-9/16" in width; knife only: approximately 12" in length and 2-9/16" in width; blade only: approximately 7" in length and 1-1/4" in width.

Steel, wood, woven cotton, cast resin brass.

Snap on sheath strap, small hole at bottom of sheath.

USN MK II; KA BAR USN MKII; NORD 8114 B.M. CO. 1 1 VP insignia.
