WWII USAC Training Det. Southern Aviation Training School History with Disney Illustration

This is a copy of "The Shifting Winds" Volume 1, Number 1, published on behalf of the United States Air Corps Training Detachment, Southern Aviation Training School in Decatur, Alabama. The inside of the front cover (photo above) is a Disney illustration done for the publication of the book, showing Mickey in an attitude of "cheery spontaneity". The book also contains several trainee photos, a staff list and cartoon illustrations.

Published circa World War II.
