ARTIFACT: WWII Chinese aviation cadet sleeve patch, made in the United States. The sleeve patch is as worn by Chinese cadets during pilot training in the US and shows a sunburst flanked by a pair of spread wings embroidered on bright orange wool felt.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/2" in diameter

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Embroidered wool felt, cotton/polyester/silk thread, gauze backing

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn on.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a Chinese aviation collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX90 LAFEX3/16

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine—Excellent): The patch shows minor to moderate storage wear, two small moth nips along the edge that do not detract, wool felt remains bright, overall very fine condition.
