WWII USAAF HQ Patch, Large Gold Border. Variant Lighter Color Blue

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces Headquarters shoulder patch. The patch is in twill with a gold border and shows a winged star at center and is a variant, light color blue.

Approximately 2 5/8" x 2 7/8 round.

Cotton twill embroidered in silk/cotton threads with mesh backing.
