ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 6th Air Force "large ship" variant patch. The patch is unworn and is hexagonal, showing a winged star beneath a golden sailing ship.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 3-1/16" in height and 2-5/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
