ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army Air Force 6th Air Force shoulder patch in the "e;large ship"e; variation. The patch is well used. It is hexagonal and shows a winged star with a Viking ship above.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-15/16" height and 2-3/8" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Fully embroidered in silk/cotton threads.
