ARTIFACT:
This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces glider pilot wing in the Walter Lampl Juarez pattern. The wing has beautiful patina and toning and bears a scarce COIN SILVER mark on reverse. The catch is missing, which is very typical in this wing type.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.
SIZE: Approximately 15/16" in height and 3-1/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Coin silver.
ATTACHMENT: Horizontal pin (come-under locking swivel catch is missing).
MARKINGS: COIN SILVER.

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The wing has areas of light wear/tarnish; catch is missing.
