This is a scarce, early WWII United States Army Air Forces Glider Pilot wing in COIN SILVER in the Walter Lampl designed Juarez pattern. The wing was made from a regular USAAF Pilot Wing and the "G" was applied to the wing by a jeweler during WWII.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:3-1/4" in length by 3/4" in height.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Coin silver.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal pin with come-under catch (catch is a period repair / replacement).
MARKINGS:COIN SILVER and "HA" original owner's initials scratched on reverse.
