This is a United States Army Air Forces enlisted man overseas cap with an Air Materiel Command distinctive insignia (DI). The DI is in sterling silver with red, blue and yellow enamel. The hat is in a Size 7.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Size 7.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Twill with piping, leather, silk, enameled sterling silver.
ATTACHMENT:Pin-back on insignia.
MARKINGS:7 on size tag.

CONDITION:7+ (Very Fine+): The hat shows some light wear only and the DI has some areas of tarnishing.
