ARTIFACT: This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 7th Fighter Command, 7th Air Force "e;Sun Setters VII"e; patch. The Sun Setters flew Mustangs in and out of Tokyo for the 15th, 21st and 506th Fighter g\Groups under the VII Fighter Command umbrella. The design for the patch is the Japanese "e;Rising Sun"e;.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 5-3/8"e; in width by 4"e; in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Painted on heavy canvas.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS: None.
