This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 52nd Troop Carrier Wing, 12th/9th Air Force jacket patch. The patch shows a stylized golden wing against a blue background wit five stars at the top and two stars at the bottom.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:About 4" wide by 4" high.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Embroidery on wool.
ATTACHMENT:To be sewn onto a garment.
MARKINGS:None.
