This is a great jacket patch for the United States Army Air Forces 506th Bomb Squadron, 44th Bomb Group, 8th Air Force. This group served in the UK and flew B-24 aircraft. The patch shows the Green-Nosed Flying 8-Ball.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:About 5" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Embroidery thread and wool appliqu on a black felt support.
ATTACHMENT:To be attached to garment.
MARKINGS:None.

CONDITION:8 (Excellent-) This patch is in good condition but shows some wear and minor fading.
