WWII USAAF 391st Bomb Squadron (Heavy) 34th Bomb Group 8th Air Force Jacket Patch

WWII United States Army Air Forces 391st Bomb Squadron (Heavy), 34th Bomb Group US-made jacket patch. Eventually in the European Theater of Operations (ETO) with the 8th Air Force, but this patch pre-dates that and resembles a tribal bird.

Circa WWII.

Approximately 5-1/8" in height x 4-1/2" in width.

Embroidered wool felt, silk/cotton thread, gauze backing.

To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.

8+ (Excellent): The patch shows minor wear and soiling, small spot of red ink on reverse, the colors remain bright, overall excellent condition.
