ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II United States Army Air Forces 3501st AAF Base Unit (Technical School and Overseas Replacement Depot) jacket patch. The unit was stationed at Boca Raton AAF, Florida.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

About 4" in diameter .

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Cotton/silk embroidery thread on wool.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn onto Flight Clothing.
