ARTIFACT:

 This is a World War II US Army Air Forces training patch for WASPs (Women Air Force Service Pilots). It shows an owl alongside some lightning bolts.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately: 4-7/8" in diameter.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Cotton embroidery thread on wool felt.

ATTACHMENT:

To be sewn on.
