ARTIFACT: This is a World War II shoulder patch in the "standard" type for the United States Army Air Forces 15th Air Force. The patch shows a winged star beneath a number 15.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-11/16" in height and 2-1/2" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: The patch you will receive will either be the one pictured or one in very similar condition. This is from a WWII USAAF shoulder patch collection that we will be listing more of over the next few months. VAX90 LABX4/14
