This is a United States Marine Corps officer's visor hat in khaki. A copper-plated eagle, globe and anchor graces the front and the top of the hat displays a beautiful quatrefoil. The liner is in leather with a punched-out pattern and behind that is a mesh band made of wicker.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Khaki twill, elasticized cotton, copper-plated brass, leather, silk, wool, wicker, treated cotton, clear plastic.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Hat has a small spot of slight discoloration and shows light wear; loose liner.
