This is a World War II US Army Gulf (of Mexico) arc in red with that word embroidered in yellow. It was meant to wear over a patch which read Port of Embarkation.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-1/8" in height and 2-15/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
ATTACHMENT:None.
MARKINGS:None.
