WWII US Army 474th Infantry Regiment Shoulder Patch

This is a shoulder patch for the United States Army 474th Infantry Regiment. The patch is red, white and blue and is shaped like a spearhead with a Viking ship at center and a scroll above the ship. The shape of the patch and the different symbols on it were chosen to represent the mix of three units which were assimilated into the 474th.

Circa World War II.
