Description
This is a 1930s-World War II United States 1st Army Engineers shoulder patch. The 1st Army was involved with the Normandy invasion and the Battle of the Bulge, among other contests. The patch shows a capital "A" in block lettering, denoting "A" for "army" as well as linking A as the primary letter to the army's name (1st). Inside the upper section of the A is a light blue square.
VINTAGE:Circa 1930s-World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2-11/16" in height and 2" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Fully embroidered in silk/cotton threads.
