This is a United States 556th Bomber Squadron, 387th Bomb Group, 9th Air Force patch from World War II. The 556th was a part of the D-Day offensive and flew B-26 aircraft. The patch shows a Native American man running through the sky while wielding a tomahawk.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 4-15/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Painted canvas.

CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch shows light wear only and some areas of minor discoloration on reverse.
