WWII US 556th Bomb Squadron (BS), 387th Bomb Group (BG), 9th AF Patch

This is a United States 556th Bomber Squadron, 387th Bomb Group, 9th Air Force patch from World War II. The 556th was a part of the D-Day offensive and flew B-26 aircraft. The patch shows a Native American man running through the sky while wielding a tomahawk.
