This is a United States 554th Bomber Squadron, 386th Bomb Group, 8th and 9th Air Force patch from World War II. The 554th was a part of the D-Day offensive and flew B-26 and A-26 aircraft. The patch shows a snarling panther on some red rocks.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 5-3/8" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Painted canvas.
MARKINGS:554th handwritten on reverse.
