ARTIFACT: This is a book titled: The Navy at Sea and Ashore #: NAVEXOS P-472. This is a good historical reference book that briefly summarizes the Navy's history up to WWII. It goes into greater detail of the Navy's role in WWII. There are some nice photos showing advance bases, ambitious attacks, and a great shot of a WWII Aircraft Carrier.

SIZE: About 5-7/8" in width by 9-1/8" in height; 48 pages in a softcover binding.
