This is a World War II Special Police badge from Salem, Massachusetts, worn by Bill Perkins in or around 1950. The badge shows the seal of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at center with an eagle at top and reads SPECIAL POLICE SALEM 292.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:2-9/16" height and 1-3/4" width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Steel with painted lettering.
ATTACHMENT:Vertical kick pin with forked locking catch.
