Description

ARTIFACT:

This is a 1970s police badge from Salem State College in Massachusetts, initially established in 1854 as Salem Normal School. The badge shows the State seal at its center.

VINTAGE:

Circa 1970s.

SIZE:

Approximately 2-1/2" height and 1-11/16" width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Chrome-plated nickel with painted and enameled details.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical kick pin with drop-in locking swivel catch.

MARKINGS:

None.

ITEM NOTES:

CONDITION:

7+ (Very Fine+): The badge shows very little wear and has one small piece of enamel missing.
