ARTIFACT:

This is a circa World War II Royal New Zealand Air Force wireless air gunner dress wing made in Canada for the crew's training in that country. The wing reads WAG RNZAF framed by rust-colored laurels and is topped by a beautiful scarlet crown.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 2" in height and 3-5/8" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Wool felt embroidered in cotton/silk threads with cotton padding and a burlap backing.
