WWII RCAF Disney Designed 412th Transport Squadron Jacket Patch

This is a large World War II flight jacket patch for personnel in the RCAF 412th transport squadron. It shows Pluto the dog pulling a carriage driven by 2 RCAF Aviators dressed in their blue uniforms. Pluto has wings on his feet and the carriage has wings on its wheels. It is interesting to see that Walt Disney studios did design work for the aviation units of other countries besides just those of the USA.

About 9-7/8" in width by 6-3/4" in height.

Felt on felt with chain stitched details.

To be sewn onto garment.

5+ (Fine-): Patch has been worn and has minor mothing on the right side near the back of the carriage. Background felt may also be faded as same area is a brighter blue color on reverse.
