ARTIFACT: This is a circa 1943 badge for the 2nd Assistant Chief of the Randolph Chemical Engine Co. #3, Randolph Township, Mt. Freedom, New Jersey. The badge is in white metal, a wartime shortages material.

VINTAGE: Circa 1943 (World War II).

SIZE: Approximately 1-11/16" in height and 1-11/16" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: White metal, plated white metal, nickel findings (findings produced pre-WWII).

ATTACHMENT: Vertical kick pin with tongue-style catch.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII New Jersey fire and rescue badge collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. ebay MDX12 LHEX1/14

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has light to medium wear.
