ARTIFACT:

This is a World War II Polish Army 1st Rifle Brigade enlisted man badge. It is quite large and was made in Scotland in 194The eagle is wreathed by a laurel reading 1 BRYG STRZ with a thistle at its junction.

VINTAGE:

Circa World War II.

SIZE:

Approximately 1-7/8" in height and 2-1/2" in width.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Bronze and silver plated bronze.

ATTACHMENT:

Single screw post with disc backing.

MARKINGS:

SCOTLAND 1942 K&S.
