This is a circa 1942 Polish Army enlisted man hat badge. It was sandcast in brass in Iraq and is in a screwback style. It shows a large, crowned eagle at its top. This badge came to us with a Polish Army 2nd Corps badge (sold separately: please see link at the bottom of this page for more information).
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 2" in height and 1-5/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Sandcast in brass.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with small square nut backing.
MARKINGS:None.
