Description
This is a World War II Polish Army in the West badge for an enlisted man of the 3rd Carpathian Rifle Division, or 3 Dywizja Strzelców Karpackich. The badge is by Italian maker Lorioli , and is an organically contoured cross with a great evergreen tree at its center and reads 3DSK.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-11/16" in height and 1-9/16" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Nickel.
ATTACHMENT:Single screw post with nut backing.
MARKINGS:ALP., WIARA-WYTRWATOSC-ZWYCIESTWO and F.M. LORIOLI MILANO ROMA.
