ARTIFACT: This is a circa World War II worker identification badge for the Northern Pump Company of Minneapolis. Northern Pump was created in 1929 from the merger of two Minnesota companies, and held federal contracts with the United States Navy from 1932 through World War II. The badge is numbered 435.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2-1/4" in height and 1-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Plated brass, paper, clear celluloid.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical pin on bar with drop-in locking swivel catch, backing plate.

MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7- (Very Fine-): The badge shows some medium abrasoins with some buckling to the celluloid.
