According to LIFE Magazine, some of Cadwallader's artistic Manhattan-made scarves had already become collector's pieces just after the war. This scarf has fun, bright colors dominated by aqua blue and juxtaposes aircraft silhouettes with the names of MAAF players such as DESERT AIR FORCE, 12th AIR FORCE, and BALKAN AIR FORCE.

Circa World War II.
SIZE:
Approximately 29-1/2" by 27-1/2" (not including foam board).

Silk, embroidered in cotton/silk threads.
