This is a shoulder patch for the Lowell, Massachusetts Ordnance Plant, a facility which manufactured guns between 1942-194The patch is round with a bomb at center and reads LOWELL ORDNANCE PLANT.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:2-7/8" diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Orange felt patch embroidered in black and red cotton/silk threads with a mesh backing.
ITEM NOTES:This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. MBEX09 LHEX5/10 SGEX9/10
CONDITION:8- (Very Fine-Excellent): Patch shows light wear except for one small spot on edge where felt is gone and has retained its bright coloration.
