ARTIFACT: This is an Italian-made patch for the United States Army Air Forces 38th Air Depot Group, 15th Air Force, The patch shows an arm with a fist folding a winged gear. The motto reads CERTE EST (sic), meaning With Certainty.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: About 4-1/4"e; in width by 4-3/8"e; in height.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Cotton embroidery thread on wool.

ATTACHMENT: To be sewn onto garment.

MARKINGS: None.
