ARTIFACT: This is an issue United States Army shoulder scroll for the 4th Ranger Battalion. The 4th was a special operations unit culled from the original 1st Ranger Battalion. Their World War II service saw them invade Sicily and do battle with the infamous Hermann Göring Division.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 3-3/4" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wool embroidered in cotton/silk threads, mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEX12 LADEX7/12

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine-Excellent): The patch shows some light wear.
