This is an issue United States Army shoulder scroll for the 4th Ranger Battalion. The 4th was a special operations unit culled from the original 1st Ranger Battalion. Their World War II service saw them invade Sicily and do battle with the infamous Hermann Göring Division.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-3/4" in height and 3-3/4" in width.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Wool embroidered in cotton/silk threads, mesh backing.
