ARTIFACT: This is an issue United States Army shoulder scroll for the 4th Ranger Battalion. The 4th was a special operations unit culled from the original 1st Ranger Battalion. Their World War II service saw them invade Sicily and battle the infamous Hermann Göring Division.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 2" in height and 3-5/8" in width.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Black felt patch with red and white cotton/silk threads and mesh backing.

ATTACHMENT: None.

MARKINGS: Handwritten period label.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a United States Army collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEX09 LADEX5/10 SADEX06/20

CONDITION: 8+ (Excellent): The patch shows very little wear.
