ARTIFACT:
Great WWII International Aircraft Silhouette Spotter Cards. This full deck of playing cards was made by U. S. Playing Card Company, with 52 cards and 1 Joker. The images on the cards are all the classic WWII aircraft models, e.g., ME Š 109, P Š 51, North American B Š 25, etc. The front of the box reads: "INTERNATIONAL AIRCRAFT SILHOUETTES SPOTTER CARDS", "THE U.S. PLAYING CARD COMPANY CINCINNATI, U. S. A.", and the reverse features an example of the seven of spades playing card, which shows the side and front view of a B Š 25 and reads: "North American B Š 25 U. S. ARMY" underneath. The sides of the box read: "MADE IN THE U. S. A.", "BICYCLE QUALITY", and "SPOTTER CARDS". The Joker card shows a Joker riding a bicycle and a rock near the rear tire reads: "808" and beneath the bike it reads: "D 1421".
