This is a World War II Era worker photo identification badge for the Farrington Manufacturing Company of Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts. Farrington made such pieces as jewelry boxes, eyeglass cases and early credit cards. This badge originally belonged to an employee named J.H. Woolley.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 1-11/16" in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Celluloid-wrapped tin.
ATTACHMENT:Horizontal safety-style pin.
MARKINGS:Graflex Tamper Proof Badge on edge.
