ARTIFACT:
This is a World War II era lapel pin for Fletcher Aviation Company, a California company founded in 1941 by the three Flethcher brothers. The pin is enameled, and is in the shape of a oncoming plane. The words encircling the globe at center are PUTTING WINGS ON THE WORLD.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.
SIZE: Approximately 3/8 in height and 1-3/16 in width.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Gilt brass, enamel.
ATTACHMENT: Single screw post with disc backing.
MARKINGS: None.

CONDITION: 7+ (Very Fine+): The pin shows light wear and tarnish and has one sliver of enamel missing.
