ARTIFACT:
This is a World War II era lapel pin for an employee with two years of service at Consolidated Vultee Aircraft. Consolidated Vultee began in 1943 with the merger of Consolidated Aircraft and Vultee Aircraft corporations, and later would be known simply as Convair. The pin is by Bastian Brothers.
VINTAGE:
Circa World War II.
SIZE:
Approximately 1/2 in diameter.
CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS:
Plated brass.
ATTACHMENT:
Diagonal pin with tongue-style catch.
MARKINGS:
BASTIAN BROS CO, ROCH. N.Y.
