ARTIFACT: This is a World War II era employee identification badge for Ashbridge Boat Works of Wilmington, California. Ashbridge made small craft for many clients, including the United States Army. The badge was made by Los Angeles Stamp & Stationery Company and is numbered 139.

VINTAGE: Circa World War II.

SIZE: Approximately 1-11/16" in diameter.

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Wrapped tin

ATTACHMENT: Horizontal safety-style pin.

MARKINGS: 139 on front; L.A. STAMP & STAT. CO. along edge.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a boat production company collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VEX13 LEJX10/13

CONDITION: 7 (Very Fine): The badge has some areas of light to medium wear with some slight buckling at center.
