This is a decal-on-wood plaque for the United States Navy Patrol Torpedo Squadron 24 (MTB RON 24). The unit saw action in the Philippines and New Guinea, and the plaque shows an eagle riding a torpedo.
VINTAGE:Circa World War II.
SIZE:Approximately 11-15/16" square.
CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:Stained wood with decal.
