This is a World War II City of Boston Police Department (Division 11) Air Raid Warden badge #255.

VINTAGE:

Circa WWII.

SIZE:

About 1-3/4" in width by 2-1/8" in height.

CONSTRUCTION / MATERIALS:

Nickel plated brass with black painted details.

ATTACHMENT:

Vertical one piece safety-type pin with a "C" catch and a saddle attachment to badge-back.

MARKINGS:

None.
