ARTIFACT: WWII Boston, Massachusetts Air Raid Warden badge. The shield shaped badge reads: "WARDEN AIR RAID POLICE DEPT. CITY OF BOSTON" and is numbered "3428" in the center.

VINTAGE: Circa WWII

SIZE: Approximately 2 1/8" x 1 _"

MATERIALS / CONSTRUCTION: Chrome plated nickel and black painted details.

ATTACHMENT: Vertical one piece safety-type pin with a "C" catch and saddle attachment.

MARKINGS: None.

ITEM NOTES: This is from a WWII Homefront collection which we will be listing more of over the next few months. VBEX13 LAAEX6/15 SAAEX8/15

CONDITION: 8- (Very Fine&emdash;Excellent): The badge shows minor to moderate wear and surface scratches, nearly all the plating details remain intact along with much of the painted details.
